CRAIG | MATERNITY

CHURCHILL WOODS FOREST PRESERVE | LOMBARD, IL

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the super sweet Craig family again!  I've been taking photos for them since Olivia was one and we have a great time at every session!  When Lauren contacted me and told me she was pregnant and needing maternity photos, I was so excited to hear the news they're expecting again!  Not only are Ryan, Lauren, and Olivia some of the nicest people, but they are so photogenic!  And miss Olivia is just the most gorgeous little girl with that bright blonde hair and beautiful eyes!  I had such a great time capturing her little personality!  She already knows all about her little sister in Mommy's tummy and can't wait to play with her!  And I can't wait to meet that sweet baby sister in a few short weeks for their newborn session!  Take a look at some of my favorite photos from their gorgeous maternity session!

MCKEE MARSH AT BLACKWELL FOREST PRESERVE | WARRENVILLE, IL

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a super fun couple and wow, their photos came out so beautifully!  Brittany and Mac are not only gorgeous people on the outside (they should just sign baby Wyatt up to be a model now, because we know that will be one good looking child!), but they are the nicest, most down to earth people as well!  Due to the awful weather we've been having here, we had to reschedule their session twice, but it was worth the wait!  We finally had the most perfect, beautiful evening for their session and Brittany was super excited because she said it had rained for both their engagement photo session and on their wedding day!  The sunset at McKee Marsh at Blackwell Forest Preserve is so gorgeous and serene and it was the perfect backdrop for this maternity session.  Brittany and Mac are so photogenic and what's even better is they love to have fun!  They made this session so easy and it was so fun capturing them in their natural element (and check out Mac's awesome "signature jump" that he likes to sneak in every photo session ;-) )!  Take a look at these stunning photos from their sunset session!  I cannot wait to meet baby Wyatt in a few weeks!  He's one lucky baby and is so loved already!

HERNANDEZ | EXPECTING

KNOCH KNOLLS, NAPERVILLE, IL

I met this sweet couple a few weeks ago and now their baby boy is here (a little early but healthy and a Christmas baby I might add)!  We will be doing their newborn photos in the next few days and I can't wait to meet the little peanut!  The maternity session was at beautiful Knoch Knolls in Naperville, right before it started to really get cold out.  The grass was a bit damp the morning of our session, but they were troopers and rocked their session!  These photos are seriously gorgeous and get this - they said they had never taken professional photos before, yet they look like models!  I'm in love with all of their photos, but here are some of my favorites!

TANGLIS | EXPECTING

NORTHSIDE PARK, WHEATON, IL

When my friend Elizabeth asked if I could take her maternity photos for her, I was beyond excited!  I had been wanting to do a "fancy" maternity session for a long time, and I knew she would totally be up for it!  Kosta and Elizabeth's daughter, Olivia (who we call Livy) loves to dress up, too, (and has a slight shoe obsession already ;-) ) so I knew she would love to be a part of this photo session.  And she felt like a princess!

I decided to make Elizabeth's and Livy's outfits and they came out perfect for what I was envisioning!  My sister helped me sew the lace tube dresses and I made the tulle skirts to go over. They looked great on the girls!

We went to Northside Park in Wheaton for the session.  I'd been wanting to try it out for a photo session for awhile because I knew it had pretty grounds and cool bridges.  We went in the evening close to sunset and it was the perfect, serene setting, complete with a log cabin!

To say I'm in love with these photos is an understatement - it was hard to even choose a few to include in this blog post!  But here are a few favorites I wanted to share...
